What a great season premier! We had a great party - watched last season's finale and the premier (Zou bisou bisou!), dressed up and had lots of fun with the face masks!

I finally had my party on March 31st! And I have to say we had a swell Time throwing back some Rootbeer sodas and drinking a few cocktails I might say. I ordered Chinese Take out since My Cook was out on a long "Vacation".

The Mad Men Season Premier party was so much fun! Our group of friends gets together every weekend anyway but it was fun to have a theme, get our hair done, get dressed in character, and eat 60s foods. I think we should have more themed parties now... Houseparty, you have created a monster!

The MadMen party was a distinct success. I hereby place a motion on the floor to officially lobby for the return of the American Cocktail Party! It has vanished from the social horizon, but it had a place and there is nothing else like it for a quick encounter with friends and associates... Our party itself was great fun! The masks played a big role, as a couple of the guests were taking turns holding a complete set while the show ran, and then trying to be the fastest one to whip out the face of the person talking...at the commercials we traded off and let two other people play. Cocktails (in MadMen party cups), hors d'oeuvres, and ties-on-guys...a couple of fedoras showed up too; most of the women wore dresses, something that doesn't happen to often these days but was once the standard. A Great Time for everyone!
